Transportation
The OPS transportation department’s number one concern is the safety of all who ride. Please review the 2020-2021 bus routes with your student and find the bus stop nearest your residence. Please note the times for the arrival of the school bus, and be reminded your student must be at the designated stop five (5) minutes before bus arrival, for their safety. Bus routes are subject to change due to additions and subtractions of students during the school year.
For the safety of your student bus passes are required for inner city bus routes for middle and high school eligible students, passes will be distributed the first two weeks of school by the driver.
Please keep in mind the bus driver is responsible for transporting your student in a safe manner; however bus riding is a privilege and should not be abused. All passengers must follow bus expectations posted on each bus for a safe and enjoyable ride.
